Privacy Policy
Balloon works without an account. This policy explains the limited browser, network, stored, and public onchain data involved when you use the interface.
What Balloon does not ask for
Balloon has no accounts and does not ask for or store your name, email, phone number, payment card, seed phrase, private key, or wallet password. Never enter those secrets into Balloon. Signing in means your wallet signs a message that proves you control its address.
Public blockchain data
When you connect a wallet, launch, or inspect a coin, Balloon reads public addresses, balances, coin accounts, trades, and holders from Solana through its RPC provider. Your wallet address, your launch payment, and your trades are public on chain and generally cannot be deleted or changed.
What Balloon stores
Balloon's database, hosted by Supabase, keeps the wallet address you sign in with and a 7 day session (a hash of the session cookie, a keyed hash of your IP address, and your browser's user agent); each launch you start, with its details, payment, and status; and coin data read from the chain. Sign-in attempts are counted per IP address to stop abuse, and those counters are deleted after about two days.
Uploaded pictures and metadata
When you launch, the picture you upload and the coin's metadata (name, ticker, description, and links) are stored in Supabase storage and are public, because the coin's on-chain metadata points to them for good. Do not upload private, illegal, or sensitive personal information.
Data kept in your browser
Balloon keeps your language and the name of the wallet you last connected in browser storage, and a sign-in cookie for your session. You can remove them in your browser settings, and signing out ends the session. Clearing them does not remove public blockchain records.
Network logs and third parties
Balloon uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Its hosting and RPC providers may process request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested pages, and queried public addresses. Balloon's servers read prices and yield data from public sources such as Jupiter, DexScreener, and Raydium, and create coins through PumpPortal. Wallets, Solana, explorers, pump.fun, any embedded chart such as GeckoTerminal, and linked sites have their own privacy practices that Balloon does not control.
Your choices and contact
You can browse without connecting a wallet, sign out, clear local data, and choose what you upload. Balloon cannot erase public onchain records or a launched coin's picture and metadata. Privacy and security questions can be sent to Balloon on X.
